This morning working on consciousness a thought came to me and as the day went by the thought opened me to a learning on how we as humans create our reality. Whatever your reality is, it is created around SELF. This four letter word is as big as the universe to me. So vast, dynamic, precious yet at times it is so powerless, limited,unworthy etc. But what makes it operate on the dysfunctional side?
At times while living through life we feel we are challenged by none other than our own–self. Who is placing these limitations on us and why do we feel dis-empowered to come out of this conditioning? It has been my learning time and again somewhere in life we all operate self-sabotage programs silently and that impedes our happiness, manifestations etc. It is a vicious cycle which consumes all our efforts and leads us to a moment of failure but how often do we nip it in the bud? Well not often and that is one prime reason for our disappointments in life.
One of the most common self- sabotage programs we engage in very frequently is when we are trying to drop a dress size. The same episodes we live over and over again gyming for 3-5 days and hogging on next meals. We all struggle when we are going through the self-sabotage patterns but our brain tricks us into repetitive loops and thus the failure. This applies to both personal and professional life. Have you ever wondered why this happens and how you can break free of this consistent pattern of failure. Most of us are least connected with self and we rarely validate the emotions that are behind our actions. If at all we want to break-free from these repeated patterns it is imperative we move our consciousness through our emotions and focus on acceptance rather than denial. There is only one key if we want to overcome the self sabotage programs we need to know what emotions they are being created from as that is the energy source for them to thrive in our consciousness and then we have to work towards acceptance lastly self care is the key that can help you move out of them. In simple words self-sabotage is lack of self-care. If you really want to dis-engage from these self-sabotage programs you will have to revisit your true self with an intent to identify the silent programs operating in your being.
